Limerick boasts nigh on 40 percent of the Irish Junior International trialists ahead of the Quadrangular tournament set for the Munster City.
Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man will provide opposition to Ireland in the eagerly anticipated tournament and 12 Limerick based players remain on course to wear the Green of Ireland come the first weekend in October.
Pike’s Gary Neville, Pat Mullins and John Tierney are all in Ireland frame, while Premier champions Carew Park will be hoping Francis Kett, John Boyle, Pat Boyle and Jonathan Grant all make the International grade. Janesboro are also well represented with Aled Harkin, Thomas Clarke, Shane Waters and Shane Clarke all deemed worthy of looking at, as is Kieran O’Connell of Limerick.
