The Kilkenny District League have announced a bonus tournament for the Premier Division clubs this season.
With the top flight facing a shortened league campaign the League have revealed plans for it’s occupants to secure more games and indeed win more silverware.
The KDL will run a 90th Anniversary Cup. The competition will consist of the seven top flight teams plus one invited team from the first Division.
The cup will play host to two leg ties up and until the final.
With the Premier Division to return to nine teams next season, it is expected to be a one-off competition.
