Rivervalley Rangers first ever season with the Leinster Senior League will play out in Major 1 Sunday.
The Swords side, who along with four other clubs, traded the AUL for the LSL at the end of last season today found out what division they will compete in next season.
Rivervalley have been placed in the LSL sixth tier which means they are two promotions of Intermediate football.
Major 1 Sunday has been the welcoming place for the more established sides looking to join the LSL from other league in recent seasons and appears to the be the highest division the committee are willing to enter teams in.
The likes of St Kevin’s and Collinstown started in Major 1 Sunday two season ago.
St Michael’s FC, East Wall Rovers, Columbians and Blackrock also made the transition, but were not confirmed in Major 1 suggesting they will have to start further down the ladder.
