Killester Donnycarney have added some talent and experience to their squad ahead of the forthcoming season.
The side that finished third in the LSL Intermediate top flight last season have brought in two players with League of Ireland experience to bolster their squad ahead of what promises to be an exciting Senior Sunday season.
Gary Howlet has added Michael Scott and Philly Hand to an already talented squad.
Midfielder Scott signs directly from LOI first division outfit Cabinteely. Scott has both League of Ireland and amateur experience having played for UCD, Drogheda United as well as Malahide United and Tolka Rovers. He signs from Cabo where he played eight games in the 2017 season.
Hand is known to the Hadden Park faithful having played for the club previously.
The left back or central midfielder left the club for Sheriff two seasons ago, but returns to Intermediate football this Summer.
Like Scott Hand boasts LOI clubs on his CV. The versatile set piece specialist was part of Sporting Fingal’s A Championship side in 2010 before joining now Newbridge Town boss Mick Cooke at Drogheda.
Shelbouren was Hand’s next port of call before a spell and Athlone Town.
