Ballymun United are confident they have replaced one great manager with a management team of equal quality.
The new Senior Sunday lost serial winner Joey Graydon, with the men who coached possibly the greatest ever junior side Ireland has seen.
After winning over 30 trophies including six leagues titles on the bounce and a number of FAI Junior Cups at Sheriff YC Alan Reilly and Chris Giles have taken over at The Mun.
Ballymun are obviously delighted with the capture and expressed it via a club statement.
Alan Reilly and Chris Giles were confirmed as manager(s) of our Intermediate Team which will compete in top intermediate division of the Leinster Senior League in the 2018/19 season.
The former SYC manager(s), will succeed Joey Graydon who decided to step down from his post at the end of May.
Ballymun United Football Club are delighted and proud to have found two men of such high calibre for our intermediate squad, we look forward to working with them over the coming years.
They bring a great deal of experience to the role of First Team Manager. We look forward to working closely with them as we look to drive the club forward both on and off the pitch.
The club also confirmed the appointment of their second and third string teams online this week.

Major Saturday:- ( the clubs top junior side)
Managers -Robbie Farrell and Alan Kinsella
Robbie and Alan have experience at this level having won the Major 1A and finished runners up in the Noel Ryan Cup in 2015/16.
3rd Team ( Prem Sat)
Managers- Ian Whelan and Peter Keating
The club would like to welcome both Ian and Peter to the club and we wish them every success with their young squad.
