Charlie Cahill Cup
Home Farm FC-1
Bangor Celtic came from a goal down to secure a place in the Charlie Cahill Cup quarter finals on Thursday night.
The Senior Sunday side trailed Senior Sunday 1 outfit Home Farm by a goal at the break, but produced a goal scoring second half innings to secure a final eight berth.
The home side took the lead on the half hour mark as a dangerous Christy Doran ball was turned home by a Bangor defender.
Home Farm took that advantage into the break, but Bangor wasted no time in leveling things up post turn around.
Caleb Murray found the back of the net on 50 to restore parity. Bangor went on to take control and were ahead 10 minutes later as Daniel Grant hit home.
Bangor remained in charge, but the home support always had hope while just one goal seperated the sides. Luke Synott changed that, however and put some day light between the sides with five minutes remaining.
