We are back with My Best #11 and we bring you an 11 from a player who has often appeared in others select.
Mercurial talent Jordan Keegan, who is now lining out for Bluebell United has picked the best 11 he has played with.
The attacking midfielder with Southampton, Scunthorpe United, Dundalk, Shelbourne and St Patrick’s Athletic previous went for a Bluebell heavy squad, but there are some stand out exceptions in there.
My Best #11 Jordan Keegan
My squad is made up mainly of lads I played with from The Bell with a few exceptions. This 11 could play a bit but would have great banter the reason I am still playing the game today. I’ll go with a 3_5_2 formation.
Goalkeeper- Andy McNulty (Bluebell United)
The biggest clubman I know. He really puts a shift in up there and still owes me a few bottles of Corona from out last outing- What a keeper. He is just brilliant and the weight doesn’t matter with this man he is still like a cat!!!!!
Right centre half- William McDonagh (Bluebell United- Monaghan Town)
The Minstrel gets in purely for banter reasons. He is funniest bloke I ever came across in the game. In fairness he is also a great player ‘Millennium Stadium 50 thousand’ he’ll tell ye the rest !!!
Centre half-Dean Lawerence (Bluebell United)
Another one carrying timber but the best defender I’ve played with. I don’t care what level this lads quality. He hates a night out aswell!
Left Centre Half Ian Birmingham (St Patricks Athletic)
League of Ireland legend at this stage, Just pure quality and also a good mate.
Wing back- Alex Oxlade Chamberlain (Southampton)
The lads will love this one! There is a rumour I kept him out of the No10 so he got moved in at wing-back. Outrageous player though.
Only played with him this season but still has it. He is just a ridiculous player and a top man off the pitch tooCentral Midfield Robert ‘Boc’ Bayly (Bluebell United)
Every team needs a mad man and this fella is a fucking mad man. In saying that he can play, great player, mad banter and one you’d want with you if it kicked off!
Central midfield Tony Griffiths (Bluebell United)
Tony like myself has zero pace but a outrages footballing brain which does it for me and great lad off the pitch.
Left wing back- Keith ‘Seamus’ Quinn
Played with this fella at my last few clubs. He seems to have to sorted his anger management issues out this year. He’s a mad man but when hes not fighting the world you’d have to have him in the team. He has a wand of a left foot and great banter in the dressing room the red lad.
No10 Adam Lallana (Southampton)
Another for the boys!! Enough said !!
Striker- Shane Stritch
Strichy is the only man I’ve seen that can get on the end of his own flick ons. He is unbelievable and loves Lallana so they would be great together !
No subs for me that will do oi oi
