Frank Roe Cup
Oliver Bond Celtic-2
Oliver Bond Celtic claimed their first every trophy in their first ever season on Friday night.
Bond overcame Woodlawn Sportslink in the Frank Roe decider to ensure their first ever season in amateur football ended with a bang.
Oliver Bond started the game well and were ahead after just 10 minutes as top scorer Martin Luby headed home after a neat team mood.
A one sided win looked on the cards at that sate, but Woodlawn began to take control and played some lovely football. Indeed, but but for some good Robbie McGee they may have taken a lead into the break.
Woodlawn pushed and pushed to get the leveler after the break, but The Bond stood firm and looked a threat on the counter attack.
Bond finally got breathing space when sub James Smith headed home at the back post with five minutes remaining.
Bond went on to claim the cup and make it promotion and cup success in season one.
