Limerick District Premier Champions Janesboro have added some serious midfield talent to their title winning squad.
‘Boro, who won the title unbeaten last season dropping two points in just two games, have brought in Jeffrey Judge and James McGrath.
Both players have played League of Ireland with Limerick and come in from Fairview Rangers and Nenagh respectively.
Judge signed for then Limerick 37 in 2008 and broke into the first team squad under Pat Scully in 2010 making 25 appearances that season
The player further establish himself in Limerick’s midfield the season after scored 8 goals in his 29 league appearances.
Pike Rovers was then next port of call for the midfielder but he returned to Pat Scully’s squad in June of 2012 and was part of the squad that won the First Division and promotion to the Premier Division for 2013.
After only six appearances in the top flight Judge moved to ‘home’ to Fairview, but is on the move again after signing for the ‘Boro.
McGrath, who has strong Nenagh links, also has Limerick previous playing for the clubs A and under 19 sides at the turn of the decade before making 10 appearances for the club in 2012.
In 2013, under new boss Stuart Taylor, James made just 3 Premier Division appearances, all from the bench, but he re-signed for 2014 and went on to make 11 league appearances.
The midfielder then signed for Pike before returning to his local club, but signed for Janesboro on Sunday alongside Judge.
