Shannon Town kept the pressure on Newmarket Celtic at the top of the table with an easy victory over Tulla Utd at Lynch Park on Sunday. Scorers for the Shannon side were Colin Scanlan (2), Kieran Hackett (2), Rob Wall, Josh Lindsay, Kai Khetan and an own goal.

Avenue Utd put in a good performance to defeat Bridge Utd at Roslevan on Sunday. Mark Roche scored the winning goal from the penalty spot on 60 minutes after Mikey Mahoney was taken down in the area by Bridge Utd keeper Paul Tuohy.

Moher Celtic made the trip to Bridgetown on Sunday and came away with a good victory over Bridge Celtic. Jimin Dooley put the visitors in front in the first half after a good run and finish. Bridge got back on level terms before half time when they scored from a corner. Paul Cagney put Moher back in front with a well struck header. Martin Garrihy wrapped up the victory with a good finish from a tight angle.

Mountshannon Celtic recorded their first win in the League with a good victory over Ennis Town at Lees Road on Sunday. Ethan Boyle joined an elite list of players to have netted a hat trick for the club. William Glass also got on the score sheet. Another vital moment in the fixture came when Eanna Doyle produced a fine save from the penalty spot when Mountshannon led 1-0. Emmanuel Abaelebyi scored for Ennis Town with a well struck free kick in the second half.

Rhine Rovers 3-1 Rineanna Rovers
Despite Rineanna making the better start Rhine took the lead midway into the first half after settling into the match. Rineanna leveled early in the second half before Rhine went on to win it finishing the stronger of the two teams. Massimo Coote, Kevin Johnston and James Ivors scored for Rhine Rovers.
