Former Blackburn player and Cherry Orchard manager Graham Cassin has been handed a new role at Collinstown ahead of next season.
The progressive Clondalkin side have appointed the former Irish underage International as Director of Coaching.
The former midfielder of note has been working with the clubs first team alongside Paul Doyle and manager Kevin Carroll for the past few seasons, but will now take the Director of Coaching mantle.
It’s believed ‘Casso’ help to grow the burgeoning youth structure at the Clondalkin side while keeping some involvement with the first team.
Within a matter of days of his appointment being announced Cassin made two high profile appointments.
The Director of Football has brought in a new academy director in Joanna Kelly and a head coach in the form of Maxi McCann.
Kelly just recently won the Gaynor Cup as Director of the MGL academy and brings a wealth of experience in under age football throughout Dublin, while McCann’s experience needs no introduction having coached around the world including Manchester United summer camps.
