Crumlin United have moved to add more fire power to their attack by signing a player who has never not managed to surpass the 25 goal a season mark in Intermediate football.
Stephen Kinch has returned to Crumlin and Martin Loughran will be hopeful he can add more goals to a team that already averages three goals a game this season.
Kinch will be familiar with the Pearse Park surroundings having played their with United previously and having played their with Inchicore over recent seasons.
The attacker has been away from Senior Sunday for sometime now, but has been crucial to ‘Core’s impressive rise and always remained one of the most respected players outside of Senior Sunday.
He now returns hoping to win Senior Sunday for a second time and looking to make his mark at the top of the Intermediate pile.
The player who scored over 20 goals in each of the 13 intermediate seasons he completed was said to be close to signing for reigning Senior Sunday champions Bluebell, but has returned ‘home’ to Crumlin instead.
The front man, who had a good working relationship with current Crumlin talisman Craig Walsh while at Inchicore, made a goal scoring return for the club finding the net in his first game back.
