AUL Premier A
Kilmore Celtic FC-2
A last minute Mark Ludlow penalty completed a Donnycarney comeback as a battle of the promoted sides eventually ended all square on Sunday.
Kilmore had raced into a two goal lead and looked odds on to register a first top flight win by beating their old Premier C rivals.
However, Donnycarney fought back against a side that had their opening game abandoned due to light failure and got a second point of the season.
Shane Andrews put Celtic in front after being set up by Shane Burke.
Kilmore’s talisman Paul McMillan then doubled the advantage after benefiting from some good Steo Curtis work.
Like Wednesday night’s cancelled game Kilmore felt they were on course for three points, but Donnycarney had other ideas.
Paddy Warren pulled one back for the designated hosts but the revolution looked to be quashed when Donnycarney were reduced to 10 soon after.
However Ludlow levelled right at the death after his side won a penalty and the sides had to split the spoils.
