FAI Junior Cup
Collinstown FC could be one of the LSL sides to watch in this seasons FAI Junior Cup.
The Clondlakin side were deemed a threat when they populated the AUL top flight last season and despite moving to the LSL lower leagues have managed to strengthen their squad.
Among their goal scorers as they beat Ratoath Harps in the contest on Friday night was the man who lifted the FAI Intermediate Cup in the Aviva Stadium the last two seasons, James Lee.
Lee was joined on the score sheet by Dano Matthews, who was man of the match as Collinstown defeated Sheriff YC in the Leinster Junior two season ago.
Former Clondalkin Celtic striker Ger Shortt continued his impressive run of form and bagged two as Kevin Carroll’s side progressed to the next round.
