Bluebell United are going about their transfer business rather quietly this Summer.
In recent seasons the champions have added some big names to their squad in the close season and have proved a successful rehabilitation ground for some top talent looking to find their footballing feet again.
However, this Summer the reigning LSL champions have yet to officially confirm a player through the door at the Red Cow. There are suggestions they have some new faces up training, but are waiting till pre season is done to see who the officially sign for the season ahead.
One player they have signed is St James Gate favourite John O’Connor.
The midfielder leaves Gate after seven impressive seasons and will be available for selection at Bluebell next year.
O’Connor, who also has clubs like Lissadell, Greenhills and CIE Ranch on his CV, may not be first team ready just yet and could at present be deemed a Saturday signing, but that is something the player will be looking to change over the coming weeks and months.
