Dean Ebbe is back in the LSL.
The striker left Bluebell United in the Winter window and signed for then Scottish Premiership side Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The move was made with the future in mind and Ebbe went into the under 20 set up where he was impressing enough for some fans to call for him to be handed a chance in a struggling first team.
The Clondalkin man did manage to play for the first team and lived a boyhood dream by gracing Celtic Park when he came on against Celtic in the cup.
Ebbe wasn’t used as ICT eventually went down, an occurrence that most felt would greatly increase his first team chances.
However, the man that signed him, fellow Dub Ritchie Foran was sacked as manager and John Robertson returned to the hot seat.
The new coach seems to be keen to make changes and has been linked with a number of new signings and Ebbe wasn’t in his plans. As a result the striker was released by the club.
The front man trained with a number of LOI sides over the Summer, but has returned to Bluebell United and becomes the latest addition to Andy Noonan’s squad.
Indeed, Ebbe scored from the spot over the weekend as Bluebell beat Sheriff YC in the FAI Senior Cup first round proper.
