Former Kilbarrack United manager Dennis Hyland has been appointed St Patrick’s Athletic U15 manager.
Hyland saw of competition from 39 other candidates to secure a coaching role at the League of Ireland club.
Joining Hyalnd as assistant manager will be former St Pats player and current Crumlin United coach Sean O’Connor.
Hyland had two stints as AUL Premier A side Kilbarrack’s boss and is also the Ireland U18 Assistant Manager, Dublin North Emerging Talent Head Coach and worked under Tom
O’Connor with the Ireland U16s for a number of years.
“I spoke to Ger about his plans for the academy set up and I already knew about the brand of passing football that the club is known for, so for me it was a no brainer to join St Pat’s. I’m delighted with the opportunity and excited about this challenge,” Hyland told the St Pats website.
