Daniel Kelly is a man in demand.
Such has the former St Patrick’s CY mans form been this season, first for Bray Wanderers and then for Bohemians, that the top League Of Ireland clubs are likely to offer him terms.
It’s believed the exciting wide talent will be able to chose between Cork City, Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers if he elects to leave Bohs, which would be likely considering the club’s part time status.
However, according to reports today their could be another option on the table for a player that was competing in the amateur ranks this time last year.
Bolton Wanderers could come in and blow the LOI outfits out of the water with an offer. The Championship side have admitted interest and are keen to take a look at the 22 year old.
Kelly’s rise has been meteoric. After some time lighting up the Leinster Senior League with Crumlin United and more so St Patricks CY, the player, who also played for Ringsend Rovers signed for Bray Wanderers last January.
Financial problems at the Seaguls meant he was released on the same day as Crumlin midfielder Craig Walsh, but Kelly signed for Bohs and hasn’t looked back.
Indeed, the mercurial talent has become something of a fan favourite at Dailymount, although he looks likely to make some form of move over the next few weeks.
