Two sides that won promotion from Premier C last season have by passed Premier B and will compete in the AUL top flight next season.
Both Donnycarney and Kilmore Celtic were all set for a Premier B assault next term, but have been promoted by default and will now play a part in Premier A.
The AUL released have re formatted their leagues and it seems as though both Kilmore and Donnycarney have benefited from the departure of Ayrfield and Kilbarrack to the LSL.
Most felt the relegated teams of the season just gone may hold onto their top flight status considering the circumstances, but both Rivervalley Rangers and Real Transilvania have been demoted to Premier B.
The second tiers top three sides from last season Dingle United, Howth Celtic and St Pauls Artane will all compete in the top flight next season, but rather than fill the void with the sides that finished fourth and fifth in Premier B now in the LSL and the side that finished sixth Sheriff YC B unable to go up the AUL looked to Premier C to make the 10 teams.
To their credit both Donnycarney and Kilmore have had solid seasons, with cup runs and brilliant league performances. Donnycarney have Premier A previous, while Kilmore have proved one of the more progressive sides in the league of late.
