Two goals in the last 10 minutes saw Edenderry Town complete a come from behind win and bank three points in their first game of the season.
The promoted sides introduction to second tier football wasn’t too nice as Dublin Bus went a head early on but after trading strikes to see things level going into the last few minutes Town twice hit late to secure victory.
The Bus, who are now under the stewardship of of former Cherry Orchard and Tolka Rovers boss Paul Doyle, got off to the perfect start as they wen a ahead within three minutes.
They visiting side maintained that advantage up and until 10 minutes shy of half time when Aaron McDonnell leveled.
Parity remained until the hour mark, but the reigning LSL Senior 1A champions managed to creep in front, this time David Hanlon with the strike.
The visitors hit back within a five minutes of a tense and entertaining tie and as the 80 minute approached a draw looked on the cards.
However, Hanlon struck again with just 10 minutes to go to put the home side in three point pole.
Derek Foran then made sure and sent Town to the top of the table at this early stage when he converted the rebound from his own penalty.
