The LSL finally saw off reigning champions Hardwicke after an enthralling encouther.
Home Farm took the lead but twice had to fight back from a goal down before the game was settled from the spot.
The LSL side will now play Sheriff in a decider that looks set to be pushed back to next Tuesday due to Sheriff’s FAI Senior Cup clash with Bluebell this Sunday.
In form front man Sean Goulding opened the scoring for Farm in the first half, but Hardwicke pulled level from the spot and the sides went in all square at the break. Another in form front man with the goal from 12 yards, Dean Byrne.
Jordan Wright then put ‘Wicke in progression pole as he scored after the turn, but Goulding struck again to level.
Hardwicke flirted with progression to a second successive final soon after as Anthony Corcran found the net, but a late penalty from Eoin Murray sent the game to penos.
Peno’s were equally as enthralling as Home Farm eventually won in sudden death.
