It was quite a successful 7 days for this week’s JSP Player of the Week.
If Lee Roche wasn’t having a season of note before November got under way he certainly is now.
The Liffey Wanderers attacker had proved chief goal scorer in the early part of the season for the promotion hopefuls.
His net finding responsibilities were meant to lessen when his brother and last seasons top scorer Aidan Roche returned from an eight week sabbatical.
However it seems the former Crumlin United and Longford Town player has upped the goal scoring gears further.
Possibly fueled by some brotherly rivalry Roche seems to be determined to secure top goal scoring status in what could prove to be a historic season for a history making club.
Having scored a hat trick against Verona to put his side top of Senior 1 the front man, who generally plays wide of a three hit four in the Metro Cup over Arklow Town Sunday gone, thus making it impossible to over look him for JSP Player of the Week.
