Kilbarrack United have lost duo Robbie Arnold and Jonathan Meleady to their management structure, but are hopeful they pair won’t be totally lost to the club.
The pair guided the former Premier A title challengers and FAI Junior Cup finalists to Intermediate level since the clubs move to the LSL and will be missed at the helm.
However, United, who are currently searching for a new manager, hope the duo continue to make themselves available for on field selection.
The Club released the following statement after today:
After 2 seasons in charge of our Senior set up, Robbie Arnold and Jonner Meleady have decided to step down from their positions as joint managers. While the club is hugely disappointed to see Robbie and Jonner take a step away team management, we respect their decision and want to thank them for their time and efforts during the past couple of seasons.
They step away from the role after a hugely successful past season guiding the Senior team to the LSL Major Sunday title and promotion to Intermediate football as well as the Polikoff Cup in our first season in the Leinster Senior League.
The club hopes that Robbie and Jonner will remain players at the club and we hope to have a new management team in place ASAP.
