One of amateur football’s most decorated goalkeepers, Conor Daly, has returned to Kilmore Celtic for a second spell following a short stint with AUL Premier A side Ayrfield United.
Daly has had a glittering career in the game. He was a member be of the Killester United side that dominated junior football during the 2000s where he won nearly every trophy on offer including the FAI Junior Cup in 2007.
He moved to Sheriff YC as they began to dominate Junior football before signing for Kilmore for his first spell where he won the amateur cup and league double in his first year.
He took a year out before returning to Celtix last season where he captained them to the AUL Elastoplast Shield.
During the Summer window he reunited with former teammate Al Connor at Ayrfield United however his stay was cut short due to work commitments.
He now returns to the Oscar Traynor Road club for a third spell as they look to achieve promotion from AUL Premier C and continue their FAI Junior Cup run.
