Leinster Junior Cup
St Anthony’s (Wicklow)-0
St Anthony’s were put out their misery with a little over 10 minutes to go as a rampant Kilmore put them to the sword on Friday night.
The AUL Premier A side all but had two feet in the second round of the prestigious contest by half time after a five goal opening 45 minutes.
They added a further two after the break as St Anthony’s failed to find form and the ref blew things up early.
Celtic had two hat trick hero’s to celebrate on the night as Marco Lynch and Sean Young were left sharing the match ball after scoring a treble a piece.
Lynch got the ball rolling as early as four minutes and before 6 minutes had past Young had joined him on the score-sheet and doubled the host’s lead.
Ten minutes later and things looked ominous for the visiting side as Lynch extended the advantage on 16. Young joined him on the double with a strike on 32 before bagging his hat trick two minutes shy of the break.
Not to be out done Lynch grabbed his third and his sides sixth 10 minutes after the restart.
Conor Brown made sure it wasn’t all about the hat trick duo just shy of the hour mark he rounded of a brilliant performance with his sides seventh.
