Former St Micheal’s manager Jason Purcell will lead Limerick into this seasons Oscar Traynor Trophy.
Purcell, who coached the Saints of Tipperary to FAI Junior Cup success, will be in charge of the Limerick select for the inter league contest.
Purcell will be joined on the management set up by Stewart Fitzgerald. The pair come in to replace experienced and respected coach Declan Considine.
Limerick made the quarter finals of the competition last season, but were knocked out by eventual winners the Inishowen League.
The Limerick select have been drawn in Group C with Kerry, Limerick Desmond and West Cork.
