Stephen Geoghegan is no longer the manager of St Patricks CY.
The League of Ireland legend and the club parted company by mutual consent.
The lethal marksman for Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne in his playing days took the reigns at the popular Ringsend Club at the start of the 2015/16 season and after two seasons at the helm no longer mans the hot seat.
In his first full season in charge Geoghegan oversaw a very impress fifth place finish for a side that had just lots talisman Thomas Dunne and needed a late run of wins to ensure safety the season before.
This season CY look set to finish in mid table again in one of the most competitive division in amateur football, a standing most would deem as acceptable and in St Pats CY’s case maybe even successful.
The committee at Ringsend will now be searching for a new manager ahead of the new season.
