Senior Sunday new boys Newbridge Town have added more top flight title winning experience to their squad.
The Kildare side, who started life in the top Intermediate tier with an impressive win away to Drumcondra, brought in the likes of Aji Sule last season and have brought in Sean Byrne this Summer.
Byrne like Sule had spent a short time in the LOI Division, but also like the direct wide man had his best spell at Bluebell United.
The central midfielder with an eye for a goal won back to back Senior Sunday titles with the Red Cow club and was particularly influential in the second Championship season, scoring crucial goals as Bell retained their crown.
Byrne didn’t play as regular last term and has now moved to Newbridge where he links back up with former Sacred Heart manager Paul Perth.
The midfielder mad a dream start to life in the stripes scoring Newbridge’s first Senior Sunday goal with a clever chip finish on Friday.
