Ardmore Rovers are fast becoming the surprise package of the 2017/18 transfer window.
Admittedly their is some time to go and you can be sure there will be a host of big signings to be confirmed before amateur deadline day, but the Rovers have attracted to two top quality players to Bray this week.
Not long after confirming the signing of former Bray attacker Emeka Onwubiko the Major Sunday promotion hopefuls have announced Paul Molloy has joined their playing staff.
The former Wayside Celtic player drops from the top flight to the fifth LSL tier have trading green and white of Greystones for the maroon of Ardmore.
It’s a massive signing for a side that will compete in Major Sunday alongside the likes of St Francis, Collinstown, St Kevins, Willow Park and Clondalkin Celtic.
Molloy has been impressive for Greystones in recent season, always a goal threat and lively under Gary Dempsey.
The front man, who can also play in midfield will now focus his attentions on getting a Ardmore promoted, while Greystones have also moved on having announced an attacking signing of their own on Monday.
