However, it’s not just the big named clubs that look set to grab the headlines the other occupants will be determined to make an impact.
Ardmore Rovers certainly seem a side with big ambitions and they have made a statement this weekend with an exciting signing.
The Bray based club have added Emeka Onwubiko to their playing roster.
Onwubiko has a proven pedigree having represented both Bray Wanderers and Athlone Town in the League of Ireland and can also boast to being a former Irish underage International.
It’s a massive move for the Maroon Army, who have targeted promotions from the fifth tier, and the club are predicting more note worthy additions will be announced over the coming days.
