It’s another major signing for Major Sunday.
Ballyfermot United, recently relegated from Senior 1 B, have brought in the experienced Gary Curran as they look to bounce straight back into intermediate football.
Curran joins the club who play their games within a stones throw of Dublin Bus from Bluebell United.
The midfielder spent two seasons at the Red Cow and played the majority of his games at Saturday level for ‘Bell.
The player also boasts a wealth of League of Ireland experience having come through the youth ranks at Sligo Rovers before representing the likes of Galway, Longford and Bray Wanderers.
It may not be intermediate level, but by the week Major Sunday is becoming increasingly more eye catching and could prove one of the most competitive divisions in amateur football next term.
