Martin Loughran was full of praise for his side and double peno save hero Mikey Quinn after Crumlin United took a League Of Ireland scalp in the FAI Senior Cup over the weekend.
A late Jake Donnelly strike saw the LSL Senior Sunday team knock LOI First Division outfit Wexford out of the contest, but Quinn, who the club signed back from Shamrock Rovers last Christmas also played a vital part in the win.
The young keeper produced two peno saves in the 90 minutes and his manager singled him out for some praise when speaking to FAI TV after the win.
Speaking before Monday’s draw the experienced and decorated coach also claimed he would like a big name in the next round and it seems it got his wish as the Senior Sunday side were drawn along side Dundalk.
