MSL Premier Division outfit Douglas Hall have bolstered their title hopes by signing a young yet experienced front man.
Rob Lehane has returned to Hall, who currently sit third in the MSL top flight, a team he played with at under age level after season with Cobh Ramblers.
With the top flight wide open his addition could play a massive part in any potential title push this season.
The striker started playing with Douglas Hall at underage level before progressing onto Cork City’s underage setup, where he won the Under-19 league and cup double.
A stint in the Munster Senior League with UCC followed before he rejoined Cork City were he made 15 starts under former Avondale manager John Caulfield.
After another season at Turner’s cross and a loan spell with Sligo came before a season with Ramblers, who signed a teen striker from Ringmahon this week.
Now Lehane looks set to lead the Douglas Hall line as they bid to make an impression on the top half of the table.
