O’Mahony was a key in UCC’s historic 2016/17 and gets due reward with a move to title certs Cork City.
UCC won there first ever Munster Senoir League Premier title this season and became the first ever team to win the Collingwood Cup and MSL top flight in the same season.
O’Mahony was a rock at the back throughout both campaigns and his form hasn’t gone unnoticed by those in charge at Cork.
The 22-year-old has previously spent time with Cobh Ramblers were he made 16 appearance over two season, but signed for UCC after his release.
He immediately stood out as one to watch in the amateur game and won the Munster Senior League Player of the Year in 2015/16 .
