(Rivervalley Rangers win 4-2 on pens)
Brian Little ensured Rivervalley Rangers could have a happy end to a tough season as his penalty saved helped the Swords side progress to the Nivea Cup final.
Having taken the lead Rivervalley were pegged back by LSL bound Premier B side Castleknock Celtic and had to survive the lottery of penalties to progress to the decider.
The Premier A side took an early lead as Ronan Murtagh pounced when John O’Donoghue’s shot was parried by the net minder.
The lead didn’t last long, however, as Castleknock managed to level soon after and but for some fine saves to ensure the tie remained level.
The bar then denied Paul Currivan and prevented Rivervalley bringing a lead into the break.
Rivervalley shaded the second period, but a second goal never came and extra time ensued.
The Premier A outfit had a great chance to win it in extra time, but after Anto Cantwell robbed the defender and cut back into the danger area Paul Galvin pulled his shot wide from just yards out.
Penalties followed and Castleknock missed their first and saw their fourth saved, allowing Ciaran Lattin to score the winner from 12 yards.
