Newtown Rangers made it 11 goals in two league games as they made two wins from two in style on Sunday.
Rangers, who fell of the pace in last seasons promotion race, travelled to a Skerries and hit no fewer than seven goals to add to the four they put past a fancied Lucan side in their opening game.
The result leaves Newtown second at this early stage, while Skerries who were promoted by default have now lost their opening two games.
Lee Murtagh opened the scoring after racing onto a Daniel Purdy through pass before Daragh Satelle doubled the lead in style when he found the top corner from 18 yards with the outside if his right boot.
Murtagh then trebled the lead before Satelle joined him on a brace to make if four goals to nil before the break.
Skerries responded after the turn and pulled a goal back, but the four goal Newtown cushion was restored by Purdy.
Indeed the same player added a second long range finish just seconds later to register his sides tenth goal of the season.
The hosts struck again but Murtagh teed up Alex Molloy for Newtowns seventh and they finished the game with a five goal cushion.
