Last season’s semi finalists made an early statement of Road to Aviva intent with by dismantling Clare side Rineanna Rovers at Celtic Park.
Killarney found the net no few than 11 times as they progressed with ease to Round 3.
Celtic got off to a great start with an attacking run and finish by Danny Roche, scoring first after 15 minutes.
It didn’t take Roche too long to get a his second as he found the net again on just four minutes later.
Wayne Sparling was in great form and got himself a great goal as the hosts were three to the good after just 22 minutes.
Sparling went on a min scoring spree and stuck twice more before the break to secure a 22 minute hatrick and push the advantage to five by the turn.
Stephen McCarthy came off the bench at half time and found himself among the scorers just 10 seconds after the restart.
Celtic were showing no mercy and Peter McCarthy made it seven after 52 minutes. There was no time for celebrating as the same McCarthy scored within seconds of yet another tip off . McCarthy secured his hat trick on the 60th minute with to make it three goals in eight minutes for both himself and his team.
Stephen McCarthy made it 10 goals on the 70th minute only for Peter McCarthy to make it 11 on the 80th minute.
