LFA Leinster Junior Cup
Darren Moore hit brilliant double as Oldbury claimed a scalp en route to the the Leinster Junior Cup second round on Saturday.
The UCFL Division 2 side came from two goals down against Premier Division rivals Arthur Griffith Park to claim a significant win in the most dramatic of fashions.
The victory owes a lot to the goal scoring prowess of Moore, but ultimately came thanks to a last gasp Nathan Osbourne finish.
AGP started the game the brighter and punished two away mistakes to open a two goal cushion.
At that stage it looked like the UCFL Premier League side were certs to put their name in the hat for round 2.
However, a goal before the break gave Oldbury some hope.
Regan McCabe floated a ball into the box and Darren Moore rose above everyone to head home and leave just one between the sides going into the second period.
The away side started the second period the better and after a number of missed opportunities found themselves level.
Sean O’Neill whipped a ball into the area and Moore buried home his second header.
Fittingly for such a dramatic game the winner came in the last minute.
Michael Fay put in a weighted pass between centre back and full back and Osbourne latched onto it to score a dramatic winner.
