LSL Senior 1 Sunday
Karl O’Reilly didn’t let a missing a sitter effect him or stopping him from becoming the hero for Ballymun on Friday night.
O’Reilly missed a glorious chance to give his side the lead in a tight clash with Home Farm around the 70 minute mark, but didn’t sulk and scored a much more difficult effort just seconds later to ensure three points for his side.
O’Reilly brilliantly headed home to settle a clash between two promotion hopefuls in the favour of The Mun.
The victory was Joey Graydon’s sides third in a row and nine points from nine has moved them up the table.
After a period of finding their feet the promoted side look at home in Senior 1 and are now just three points off third spot and have games in hand over all the teams playing above them.
