Former Longford Town player Paul Perth is the latest manager to be handed the task of stopping Sacred Heart going down under this term.
Local lad Perth becomes the third manager to take the reigns at the Senior Sunday basement side this term. Perth follows in Paul McMahon and Bobby Byrne’s footsteps and becomes the latest managerial king of Killinarden Hill.
Both McMahon and Byrne parted company with the Senior Sunday debutants after defeats to local rivals Firhouse Clover, but Perth will be more concerned with bottom of the league rather than bottom of the Tallaght table status.
Perth, whose brother Vinny managed Malahide United and is currently a coach at Dundalk FC, had the Christmas break to work with a side low on confidence and he will be hoping they can improve on a poor run of form this weekend.
