Beamish Cup Final
Ringmahon Rangers made history with victory in Turners Cross on Tuesday night.
‘Mahon ended a long wait and lifted the Beamish Cup for the first time in their history thanks to an early and late strike.
The Munster Senior League outfit inflicted a second Stadium Cup final defeat on title hopefuls Cobh Wanderers.
Wanderers, who have won the league cup this season and face a final day league decider with UCC, lost out in the Intermediate Cup final to Liffey Wanderers at the Aviva Stadium and last night suffered defeat at Turners Cross against a side they were promoted with last season.
Ringmahon started and finished the final in the perfect manner.
Roy Kenny opened the scoring for them from the spot after just 16 minutes and the decisive strike a minute from time via Jack Cairns.
