Kilnamanagh AFC have pulled off one of the transfers of the season.
The third tier LSL side last week signed Gary McCabe from Bray Wanderers.
McCabe, who has scored 89 goals in 395 League of Ireland appearances comes into the LSL 1A side at just 30 years of age and will have a massive impact for the Keith Foy managed side.
Indeed, McCabe scored on his debut as Kilnamanagh defeated Senior 1 opposition, Greystones United, in the Metro Cup last Firday night.
The player, who has most successful spell was at Shamrock Rovers- 170 games 42 goals- but has also represented Bray Wanderers and Shelbourne.
Indeed, McCabe resigned for Bray at the start of this season, but left the club and is now part of the amateur ranks and playing alongside his former Cork City player Gavin Kavanagh as well as Karl Coleman and Robbie Collins, who also have LOI experience.
