Liffey Wanderers have brought home one of their FAI Intermediate Cup winning heros.
One of the biggest success stories in recent amateur history Wanderers have claimed FAI Junior and FAI Intermediate Cup wins whilst climbing up the Intermediate ladder.
Now after six successive promotions the talented squad will get to test to themselves week in week out about the best the Leinster Senior League has to offer.
Helping them make their mark in the Intermediate top flight will be youngster Clayton Maher.
The young attacker made his name with some brilliant performances at the club before signing for signing for LOI side Cabinteely in January.
However, the after eight months with the first division side Maher is back home, the player who scored in an FAI Intermediate Cup win against Cobh Wanderers at the Aviva will is now back in amateur football with his home town club.
