Two of Collinstown key performers last season have been training with Shamrock Rovers this week and could secure a contract with one of the biggest sides in Ireland over the coming weeks.
Both Dean Carpenter and Darren Clarke have been in Tallaght with League of Ireland top flight side.
Neither have signed contracts, but have been handed further chance to impress. The left sided pair could be in the squads as Shamrock Rovers take on Celtic and Burnley on July 8 and 13 respectively.
Regardless, manager Stephen Bradley will have a closer look and see if he feels they are worthy of a solid offer over the next week.
Carptenter has had offers from League of Ireland sides in the past, but rebuffed advances in favour of staying at his beloved Collinstown.
However, the strong, aggressive and attack minded left back will be hoping to earn a move to Rovers over the coming weeks.
Bradley may already be aware of Clarke, as he is the brother of current Hoop Trevor Clarke, who is rumoured to be subject of interest from Southampton.
The former Cabinteely wide man has been electric for the Major 1 and Leinster Junior Cup Champions and his displays have obviously caught the eye.
