The Republic of Ireland CP team have have finished top of Group A at the 2018 IFCPF European Championships in the Netherlands.
Paul Breen’s side defeated hosts the Netherlands 1-0 in the top-of-the-table clash to set up a semi-final against Ukraine on Friday.
Ireland dominated the first-half but were unable to score, as both sides searched for the win, despite having already previously qualified.
After being rested for the Northern Ireland game, Dillon Sheridan (pictured above) returned to the starting lineup and scored the crucial goal from the edge of the box.
Gary Messett led the team with an inspirational performance, as the team remained unbeaten after four games.
