Reigning AUL Premier A champions Sheriff YC have made a glamorous addition to their ranks ahead of the new season.
The Dublin side have signed Spaniard Felix Bape, who spent two years in the youth setup of none other than Real Madrid.
A 24 year old left back, Bape can also operate on the left wing and represents a high-quality addition to the dominant Dublin side.
Bape began his career in the youth teams of Real Madrid before moving across the city to Atletico and finally ending up with Getafe.
Moving into senior level he started out with the now-liquidated UD Salamanca. From there it was on to CD Casellón and then SD Logroñés in the Spanish fourth tier before a move to ASV Klagenfurt in the Austrian third division.
Last season he lined out for Lorca FC in the Segunda División B – the third tier of Spanish football.
Bape lined out for the inner city side last week during their Tom Hand preseason cup win over Liffey Wanders.
