Crumlin United boasted six different scorers as they went top of the Senior Sunday table on Sunday.
Martin Loughran’s men put in an impressive display to maintain their unbeaten start to the season with victory over Ballymun United.
The win see’s them move clear of St Mochtas on goal difference and the sit top of the table at this very early stage.
Crumlin got off to a bright start and took the lead in spectacular fashion. Craig Walsh produced a trade mark cracker to break the deadlock.
To their credit a somewhat injury hit ‘Mun responded well and equalized in equally impressive fashion.
Jake Donnelly the restored the Pearse Park sides advantage when he found the net before defender Thomas Hyland ensured a two goal half time cushion when he joined Walsh and Donnelly on the scoresheet.
Former Kilbarrack maestro Gareth ‘Redser’ Brady found the net after the turn to all but quash any hopes of a Mun revival before Jamie Ahearne netted to put the host five in the clear.
Stephen Kinch then made it two goals in two games and made it 21 goals in seven league games for title hopefuls Crumlin as he rounded off what turned out to be a rout.
