No not Micka Keogh and David Lacey, but two players that have performed for Killester United in the past are back to bolster the squad ahead of what promises to be an intriguing season for the Senior Sunday side.
Gary Howlett brought in a host faces familiar to him but new to the club when he traded Drumcondra for Killester last season, but seems to be signing players that know what the clubs about this Summer.
Among a number of former players to return to Hayden Park are Shane Farrell and Adam McCormack.
McCormack was central to Donnycarney’s success in the AUL Premier C last term and was one of the reasons they will now play in the AUL top flight next season. Indeed, he was Man of the Match in the Nivea Cup final defeat to Sheriff YC.
McCormack now returns to the club and will be joined by Shane Farrell. Farrell a former Irish amateur International under Gerry Smith was out for over a year with a leg injury but returns to what already looks like a strong squad ahead of the new season.
