New Tolka Rovers manager Stephen Doran is rumoured to be assembling a very strong squad ahead of the new season.
By all accounts over 20 players have joined the former Rivervalley manager at his new club.
The JSP revealed experienced striker Shane ‘Mario’ Dolan was one of the first through the famous Frank Roe Park gates and can now confirm he will be joined by a player at the opposite end of the career spectrum.
19 year old Calvin Douglas has also agreed to what promises to be an exciting squad. The pacey left sided player has League of Ireland experience having played for Athlone Town, but stood out in patches for Eastwall Bessborough in recent season.
Indeed the 19 year old was deemed one of the Premier A’s brightest prospects last season. He will now line up in the red of relegated Tolka Rovers as Doran and co bid to find a route back to the top flight in what promises to be a very competitive second tier next term.
