A goal from youth graduate Davy Hannon was enough to keep Fairview Rangers unbeaten start to the season.
Not quite the five they hit in each of the first two games of the season, but a third straight three points nonetheless.
Rangers are now top of the table by virtue of the fact they have yet to concede a goal- Nenagh and Janesboro are the only other sides with a 100 percent record- Nenagh like Fairview have won three and scored 11 goals, but unlike the table toppers have conceded three, while Janesboro have two wins from two.
Geraldines actually had the better of the first half, but true to form this season they impressed in all areas bar putting the ball in the back of the net.
Goals haven’t been hard to come by for Rangers and not long after half time they registered their eleventh of the season. Striker Hannon, who last season played for the Minors, scored his second of the season and second in two games.
‘Dines will feel they did enough to secure a draw, but Fairview managed to maintain their perfect start to the campaign.
